We own much of the property where we provide support and services, and we are committed to providing safe and secure homes for residents.
We are now seeking a skilled and experienced property professional, with expertise in Health and Safety and landlord compliance to ensure we meet our obligations and commitments. You will work with our Property Services Director and our facilities team to develop good systems and practices.
You'll oversee repairs and maintenance, manage contractors and budgets, and drive continuous improvement in our asset management systems and processes.
You will also help our teams to understand the importance of this function. You'll be an experienced property and/or compliance professional with strong knowledge of housing standards and health & safety regulations. Just as importantly, you'll share our values and want to make a difference through your work.
We're looking for someone who is:
A self-starter with excellent organisational skills
A skilled and motivational team manager
Experienced in managing property compliance in a housing or charitable setting
Skilled in contractor and budget management
Confident using asset management systems and IT tools
A great communicator and team player
A relevant qualification in property, health & safety, or asset management is desirable, but we're open to candidates with equivalent experience.
