The post is part of our Property Services department, who have responsibility for the service provision including Reactive Day to Day Repairs, Planned Maintenance works, Gas Servicing and Service contracts for Fire Safety Equipment and Lift Servicing in accordance with the Association's policies, good practice and relevant legislation.
The successful candidate will be expected to ensure the Association's stock is maintained in excellent condition, ensure our repairs service is value for money and provide a high level of satisfaction to our customers.
The postholder will be expected to
Identify repairs and raise works orders for reactive repairs for all stock within the Castlehill Housing Association group.
Adhere to internal policies regarding contractor selection, contractor management, management of safe working practices and contractor payment.
Ensure works are carried out within targets, costs and to agreed standards in line with the Associations KPIs.
Provide day-to-day maintenance services and advice to tenants, contractors, and Association staff for designated stock areas.
Carry out pre and post inspections for voids, large cost works and complex works.
About you:
You will have a relevant building or trades qualification at SVQ Level 3 or above or equivalent, with experience of working within a building, construction or maintenance environment. You will have experience in providing excellent customer service and experience of working in a busy environment. You will hold a current valid driving licence and a basic disclosure check is required for this post.
