About the Role




As our Property Services Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring our repairs, servicing and maintenance programmes are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.


Working closely with the Property Services Manager, you'll lead multi-skilled trades teams, manage performance, support compliance, and ensure we provide a responsive, customer-focused service.


Your work will directly support our residents, helping us maintain safe and well-cared-for homes across our communities.


You will also take part in the Out-of-Hours call-out rota as the acting supervisor, providing operational leadership and decision-making during emergency situations when required.

Key Responsibilities Include:



Supervising and coordinating multi-skilled trades teams Delivering responsive, void and planned repairs programmes Ensuring services are compliant, efficient and customer-focused Managing performance, quality and "right first time" service delivery Supporting health & safety, regulatory compliance and audits Preparing work schedules and allocating resources Providing professional advice and acting as first point of escalation Managing budgets within delegated areas Coaching, motivating and developing staff Promoting innovation, continuous improvement and value for money

About You




We're looking for a strong people leader with technical knowledge of property maintenance and a passion for delivering great customer service.

Essential Skills & Experience



Experience supervising staff and building effective teams Significant knowledge of building maintenance or trade disciplines Experience producing work schedules and managing subcontractors Strong customer-service focus with excellent communication skills Good IT skills and confidence using databases and systems Understanding of H&S responsibilities, CDM 2015, and CAR 2012 Ability to work methodically with strong attention to detail Ability to travel to various locations as required

Qualifications (Essential)



A Level or equivalent Level 3 qualification Relevant building trade qualification (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) Evidence of continued professional development

Desirable Qualifications / Experience



ILM/NVQ Level 3 in management CIH or equivalent housing qualification IOSH certification Experience in the social housing sector
