We're looking for an experienced Proposals Coordinator to manage our prequalification submissions and compliance information. In this role, you'll lead the completion of prequalification's and expressions of interest, working closely with our in-house proposals team, bid leads, and subject matter experts to gather, check, and submit accurate information.
You'll also maintain our proposals database and manage external accreditations, ensuring everything is up to date and compliant.
We're after someone who can be trusted to meet client deadlines, select the right information, and work collaboratively with functional experts to keep content accurate and current. You'll plan your workload to balance effort, minimise last-minute pressure, and maintain the high standards that represent Laing O'Rourke positively.
With your keen eye for detail and flexibility to support formatting and editing, you'll play a vital part in producing submissions that stand out for all the right reasons.
What will the role look like?
Lead the collation and submission of our prequalification documents and associated compliance tasks
Maintain an up-to-date library of prequalification and compliance information on Laing O'Rourke's knowledge management system QorusDocs
Review client documents to identify their requirements, differentiating between standard and bespoke information requests
Retrieve relevant standard information and complete expressions of interest, prequalification submissions and onboarding questionnaires
Engage wider proposals team and functional specialists to help create bespoke information
Engage with functional leaders within the business to ensure information is accurate, updating information as required
Maintain Laing O'Rourke accreditations and registration on third party portals - such as Constructionline and client registration portals
Manage client communications via portals during the prequalification process
Edit and format prequalification information in accordance with Laing O'Rourke's house style and bid style guide
Assist administration of Laing O'Rourke's proposals knowledge management system, QorusDocs
Capture lessons learnt; identify issues blocking success, share learning, make necessary changes
Make effective use of technology to maximise the team's productivity and responsiveness

Location and team:
Our UK proposals team works from both our Dartford and Manchester offices, operating as one integrated team on nationally significant pursuits. This position reports to the Proposals Writing Manager and can be based from either location. The role will sometimes involve travel between each location to build team relationships and meet business needs for individual bids.
