Proposals Engineer

Helix Energy Solutions is an international offshore energy services company, at the forefront in providing speciality services to the energy industry including well intervention, robotics and decommissioning operations.


Helix Robotics Solutions Ltd (part of the Helix Energy Solutions Group) is currently looking for a Proposals Engineer to join our Commercial Team at Helix House, Dyce, Aberdeen. This is an ideal role for details oriented and motivated individual, who is keen to start their career in a commercial field.


The role covers all aspects of commercial tendering including review of ITT documents and liaising with the Business Development Team/Project Teams to prepare proposal submissions, from receipt through to subsequent clarifications.

Responsibilities include:

Maintaining a high standard of proposal drafting, administration and co-ordination Creating and managing tender files Assisting with the preparation of cost and schedule estimates for tender Preparing and collating tender documentation Ensuring timely delivery of completed and approved tender documentation Assisting in the response to post tender clarifications Management of the tender database

Experience/Skills required:

Educated to degree level in a legal, commercial or business-related discipline Experience of working within a commercial/tendering team, preferred Good interpersonal and communication skills Excellent numerical, analytical and organisational skills * Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages
