Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Proposals Engineer to join the team, reporting into the Head of Engineering, to be a part of the company's long-term growth plans. This role requires full-time office working until a capability level is met, then the role will allow 2/3 days working from home.

Duties:

Develop detailed and accurate specifications for commercial and industrial projects. Provide comprehensive estimates related to project costs, timelines, and resource requirements. Complete system performance calculations using in-house software systems. Lead on feasibility, concept and basic design phase projects for large energy schemes. Support the preparation and submission of competitive bids and tenders. Evaluate and analyse technical requirements stipulated in tender documents to ensure alignment with capabilities and offerings. Undertake occasional site visits to assess project feasibility, requirements, and to establish client needs. Collaborate with the Engineering Team to gather essential information and ensure clarity in pre-construction projects. Offer technical expertise related renewable technologies to both internal teams and clients. Resolve any technical queries or challenges that may arise during the proposal or project execution phase. Stay abreast of latest advancements and trends in the field of renewable energy. Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences to enhance technical knowledge and network with industry professionals.
