As our

Proposals Manager

, you'll lead the creation of high-quality, persuasive submissions that communicate Hill's strengths, reflect our values, and secure new opportunities. You'll work across teams to shape content that not only meets client requirements but also showcases the innovation, expertise, and commitment that define Hill.

What you'll do



Lead and manage the proposal process

from initial brief to final submission, ensuring all EOIs, SQs, and ITTs are delivered to the highest standard.

Write, edit, and oversee content

for PQQs, SQs, and tenders, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with Hill's brand and strategy.

Collaborate with stakeholders

across Pre-Construction, Health & Safety, Marketing, and Delivery teams to gather technical and project information.

Develop and maintain

a comprehensive library of case studies, staff CVs, and project narratives.

Research clients and opportunities

to tailor submissions that respond directly to their priorities and expectations.

Ensure all submissions

are well-structured, visually engaging, and compliant with client instructions and Hill's brand standards.

Work with the bid and design teams

to produce presentation materials for interviews and client meetings.

Champion best practice

in bid management, supporting continual improvement of content, templates, and processes.

Coordinate bid reviews and feedback sessions

to enhance quality and win rates.

Maintain accurate records

of submissions and support effective document management.

What we're looking for




Proven experience in

managing and writing high-quality bids or proposals

, ideally within construction or related sectors.


Excellent

writing, grammar, and editing

skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear, persuasive content.


Strong

project management and organisational

skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders.


Confidence in engaging with

senior leaders, technical experts, and delivery teams

to shape winning narratives.


A collaborative, proactive, and solutions-focused approach.


Passion for quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.


Knowledge of the

residential or affordable housing sector

is an advantage.
