Overview


We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Proposals/Tendering Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing complex technical and commercial bid activities from RFQ receipt through to final submission. The post holder will coordinate cross-functional teams, assess technical and commercial risk, develop competitive and compliant pricing, and support client engagement throughout the tender process, ensuring all bids are delivered accurately, on time and in line with commercial governance requirements

Responsibilities



Lead and manage bid opportunities from RFQ receipt to final submission. Receive, review, and manage client RFQs, specifications, drawings, and associated documentation. Liaise closely with internal technical, operations, sales, finance, and supply chain team members Provide commercially sound guidance on price points. Maintain commercial governance Assess new or revised client documentation and evaluate impacts on scope, design, risk, and cost. Manage and control quote revisions in response to design changes or client clarifications. Attend client meetings and support post-tender clarification and negotiation stages. Ensure all RFQ and bid deadlines are met in a structured and controlled manner. Maintain CRM and tender reporting to support forecasting

Experience



5+ years in solution tendering, technical-commercial bids, pricing Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college. Exceptional attention to detail with a structured, analytical approach to problem-solving. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet demanding deadlines with high sense of urgency. Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Proven ability to manage and prioritise multiple concurrent opportunities. Confident communicator with the ability to present technical and commercial proposals to clients. Commercial mindset. Understanding of cost drivers and risk management, and terms and conditions Manage and control quote revisions in response to design changes or client clarifications. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Desirable Characteristics



Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or relevant advanced degree Electrical design/ Electrical Engineering of high & medium voltage motors & generators Knowledge of electrical insulation technologies Knowledge of Roebel Bars , and diamond coil manufacturing process/requirements

Pay: 38,000.00-42,000.00 per year
