This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping and supporting Proposition Governance - taking ownership of high impact tasks that help ensure our product offerings are developed, managed and monitored to the highest standards, fully aligned with our corporate strategy and regulatory expectations.
12 month fixed term contract, based 2/3 days a week in our Swindon office.

Your responsibilities will include:
Taking ownership of tasks to support the control, oversight and further enhancement of proposition governance, covering the full proposition lifecycle.
Taking ownership of Product Reviews, completing them to high standard using a prescribed annual schedule and format, and contributing to the ongoing development of the process.
Building effective relationships with product providers to support ongoing product governance.
Data and commentary input to, or overall production of, a regular Proposition Governance Report for operational control and use with relevant committees & boards within the organisation.
Managing and maintaining a comprehensive Proposition Database of current and legacy propositions with product details, target market information and outputs from reviews.
Monitoring and reporting on the proposition development roadmap.
Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with wider proposition team.
Writing reports and providing data inputs to reports.
Maintaining proposition governance content on Adviser and Colleague intranets and input to relevant communications.
Adviser and colleague enquiry handling on proposition governance matters.
What will you need to succeed?
1 year + experience in product or marketing administration / consultant role
Knowledge of types of products offered by Openwork and the financial advice market it operates in
Degree or equivalent (preferred)
CII RO1 (Financial services, regulation & ethics) or CF1 (UK financial services, regulation & ethics), or willingness to obtain either qualification
Financial services industry knowledge preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications
Positive, resourceful and self-motivated individual capable of working autonomously, with a strong "can do" attitude
Able to deal effectively with complexity of information and data
Able to prioritise work effectively and adapt to change positively
Seeks continuous improvement in delivery of work and skills to perform the role
Team player, willing to take on additional tasks in support of the team and wider business where required
Attention to detail
Excellent communication and negotiation skills - verbal, written & presentational
