Job Description


The role of the propositions team is to develop and kick-start the \xe2\x80\x98go to market\xe2\x80\x99 strategy for the key growth areas, building propositions and business plans that align both fee earning and business operations teams to drive growth. From identifying key opportunities, building teams to become \xe2\x80\x98experts\xe2\x80\x99 in these areas and defining our market offering, through to working with the Business and Client Development Business Partners on sales and growth enablement to win new targets and grow existing clients.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for:

  • Working collaboratively with teams across our organisation and brands to support the delivery of market propositions and products which add value to customers and increase revenue for the business. Aligning to service growth areas and brand growth strategy, you will develop relationships with the teams to obtain deep understanding of markets and target customer personas to enable you the team create suitable propositions
  • Reviewing and developing of key buyer personas representing our varied client base across the group \xe2\x80\x93 updating existing propositions and marketing assets to reflect the solutions for the problems/wants/opportunities of these buyers. Working with the Business Development team to build prospective target lists reflecting these key buyers
  • Collaborate with the internal team to conduct research, collate and analyse data and insight to provide information and recommendations on external market, key consumer trends, potential upcoming opportunities and threats and competitor activity. Make recommendations and support the development of tactical and strategic propositions in response to key findings.
  • Work with the marketing team to improve and evolve the omnichannel market profile of compelling propositions across our strategic growth areas, including digital (SEO, social media, website), PR, content, events and internal communications
  • Supporting sales enablement, building and iterating a bank of assets that communicate proposition in a compelling manner both internally and externally, including credentials documents, case studies, team sheets, internal sales scripts. Working within the Propositions Manager and across the wider Business Development and Marketing team to ensure we have a programme in place to continuously promote our various propositions
  • Alongside the data team, continually assess how we can use our systems and data to create and shape new products and propositions
  • Working collaboratively with other areas of business operations including knowledge management, IT, recruitment and finance, ensuring strategy is aligned so we have the right technology, people and systems in place to drive forward our growth areas and services
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll need:
  • A passion for supporting business growth and strategy
  • A solid understanding of marketing channels and how to use these to best effect
  • Relevant experience in marketing, product or propositions development
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • A customer centric approach and knowledge of how customer experience drives success against commercial goals
  • Excellent PowerPoint and document production skills

Sitting within the business development team and working closely with our fee earners, we have an exciting opportunity for a propositions manager to help accelerate growth across our services and sectors.
