We are currently recruiting for a friendly and confident

Retail assistant

to work in our UNDER ARMOUR Golf & Leisure store.

We have fulltime permanent and fixed term contract (June - Sept) available.

Old Thorns is a four-star resort in Hampshire. The hotel is easily accessible from the A3, and only 30 minutes from the M25 and Portsmouth. Old Thorns offers luxury accommodation, conference & function facilities, health club, beauty spa, restaurants & bars and a championship golf course.

Main Responsibilities:

To have a good knowledge and understanding of all hotel facilities and outlets. To assist in ensuring that exceptional customer service is always delivered within the store and on course. To work in accordance with the daily procedures outlined and ensure that all tasks are completed or handed over before finishing the required shift To ensure that all areas of the Golf & Leisure Store are always kept to a high level of cleanliness To take all relevant calls to the Golf & Leisure Store to input all relevant information efficiently and accurately and to control and manage all tee times for the golf course Ensuring that all rental items have a deposit taken and a disclaimer completed for each buggy used. The disclaimer must be completed before usage is allowed Assist in keeping driving range stocked with practice balls Assist with buggy rentals

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

Be well presented and have good interpersonal skills Smart personal presentation and polite and friendly manner Passionate about delivering the highest standards of customer care Excellent standards of spoken English Previous experience in a customer facing or retail role is desirable but not essential A good understanding of golf and/or be a keen golfer is advantageous
