About the Role
We are seeking an
experienced Database Software Developer
with
demonstrable, hands-on expertise in ProSolution and ProMonitor
. This is a highly specialised role suited only to individuals who have already worked within these systems in a
Further or Higher Education
environment.
You will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and customising the ProSolution backend and its integration with Microsoft 365 tools, ensuring smooth operations for:
Staff and student enrolment
Daily lecture scheduling
and management of both
on-campus and online teaching sessions
, captured and tracked via
Moodle
Timetabling and calendar integration
Internal communication workflows
for both students and staff
Tracking of public funding
and student performance metrics
Staff/student email account management
and onboarding
Ensuring seamless integration with
MS365 apps
(Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.)
Supporting the
ProMonitor student interface
for:
Assignment and exam results
Communication with Learning Technology (LT) support teams and administrators
This is
not a general software development role
- success in this post requires deep knowledge of ProSolution/ProMonitor database architecture and real-world application in education systems.
Key Requirements
Proven experience working with ProSolution and ProMonitor
databases (Essential)
Strong understanding of
education MIS structures
and how to customise them
Extensive experience with
Microsoft 365
, including:
Teams
SharePoint
Outlook
OneDrive
Power Automate / Power BI (desirable)
Solid working knowledge of
Moodle
and its integration with timetabling and scheduling systems
Experience managing digital communication channels for staff and students
Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and liaise effectively across departments
Why This Role Is Unique
Due to the
specialist nature of ProSolution and ProMonitor
, this is not a position for general software developers or MIS administrators. Candidates without direct experience with these platforms will not be considered. Unlike mainstream HE systems like Blackboard or SITS, ProSolution/ProMonitor requires a highly specific skillset rarely found outside Further Education settings.
