You will be responsible for building strong relationships, offering expert advice, and ensuring clients have the peace of mind that their financial future is protected.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed consultations to understand clients' protection needs.
Recommend suitable insurance products, including life insurance, critical illness cover, and income protection.
Explain product terms and conditions clearly to clients, ensuring they make informed decisions.
Manage a portfolio of clients, maintaining regular contact and building long-term relationships.
Ensure all advice provided is compliant with regulatory standards (e.g., FCA regulations).
Process applications efficiently and follow up with providers to ensure policies are issued promptly.
Stay updated on market trends and new product developments.
Essential Requirements
Relevant experience in a protection adviser or similar financial advisory role.
Strong understanding of insurance products, including life insurance, critical illness, and income protection.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Competent with IT systems, including CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Desirable Skills
Previous experience in a regulated financial environment.
