We're seeking a Protocol Engineer to design and implement Layer 2/Layer 3 Ethernet protocols and integrate AES/IPsec-based encryption on FPGA platforms. You'll work hands-on with cutting-edge technologies that power next-generation industrial and data-center systems across the world.
What You'll Do
Design and optimise L2/L3 Ethernet protocols (VLANs, STP/RSTP, IGMP Snooping, etc.) on FPGA-based systems. Implement and maintain middleware and protocol stacks for secure communication. Integrate AES, IPsec, and AI-based encryption algorithms for embedded systems. Develop high-quality C code for Linux embedded platforms; perform testing, validation, and debugging. Collaborate closely with hardware, FPGA, and software teams in India and Taiwan.
What You'll Bring
Proven expertise in Ethernet protocols (IEEE 802.3, 802.1Q, 802.1D/W). Strong C programming skills in embedded Linux environments. Knowledge of encryption technologies like AES, IPsec, or SSL/TLS. Experience developing protocol stacks or switch/router systems. * Bonus: FPGA design, Python scripting, or AI integration experience.
