This apprenticeship offers a unique chance to gain experience across the full spectrum of prototype vehicle development within Aston Martin. By working directly on building, servicing, and maintaining prototype vehicles, you'll develop practical skills in tear down, assembly, fabrication and testing preparation. The structured rotation plan across multiple departments including design, paint, build, stores and test & verification provides a comprehensive understanding of the entire prototype lifecycle.





What You'll Be Doing:


Follow H&S guidelines to keep everyone safe and sound. Get hands-on by taking vehicles apart completely Help build vehicles from the ground up, whether it's in the bay or on the production line. Vehicle service and repair Get vehicles ready for testing, making sure everything's set to go. Strip and inspect parts to spot any issues Measure components carefully to make sure everything fits just right Get involved in fabrication or fixing parts when needed. Work on assembling and operating high-voltage [HV] components Liaise with system and development engineers regarding possible issues identified Use your problem-solving skills to tackle any vehicle issues that come up Keep your workspace safe, clean, and organized by pitching in with tidying up




What We're Looking For:



We're searching for enthusiastic individuals with a strong interest in automotive engineering and vehicle development. You should be eager to learn and ready to work across a variety of prototype environments. A keen eye for detail, good problem-solving skills. You will need to be a team player who can communicate effectively with engineers and colleagues while demonstrating a proactive attitude in a fast-paced setting. Proficiency in computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel is essential along with an ability to prioritise tasks.





Essential requirements:


A level typical offer

AAA to include Mathematics and Physics.

Applicants with a strong profile who are studying one from A level Physics or A level Mathematics may be considered.
Unless specified differently above, you will also need a minimum of GCSE grade 4 or C (or an equivalent qualification) in English Language and either Mathematics or a Science subject. Travel to Wellesbourne as well as Gaydon will be required by personal transport. Able to attend Warwick University by personal transport.
