HG Offsite Solutions are a modular bathroom POD manufacturer, working with our parent company HG Construction to deliver quality and reliable goods across the UK.

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Prototype Technician to join our innovative manufacturing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, assembling, and testing bathroom pod prototypes to support product development and manufacturing processes. You will require a high level of plumbing knowledge working with copper as well as a good knowledge of other trades.

Summary

As a Multi Skilled Operative, you will be integral to developing working prototypes which are the blueprints to the main production run for each project.

Reporting to the Project Manager you will utilise your knowledge and maintenance expertise to troubleshoot and develop.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of tasks including plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and fabrication. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks. Collaborate with managers to ensure timelines are met. Maintain a clean and organised work environment. Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements

Experience in multiple trades is desirable, to be able to undertake plumbing, electrical, joinery and decorating requirements. Strong knowledge of various plumbing techniques and materials especially copper. Ability to read technical drawings accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with bathroom pods is a plus but not mandatory. Valid certifications related to specific trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical) are advantageous. Clean driving licence
