Working hours will be subject to agreement between the successful candidate and the service management, but will include weekend working. Previous hospital or Pharmacy experience would be an advantage, although not essential. Full training in all aspects of the post will be provided. Main duties of the job Aspects of the post will include:
receipt of medicines and Pharmacy sundries
completion of electronic and paper records
interaction with suppliers and clients to provide and promote a responsive and efficient service.
review and approval of invoice and financial statement documentation
completion of electronic and paper records
interaction with suppliers and accounts departments
The ability to meet the safe moving and handling requirements of the post, with any aids or adaptions that may be required, are essential. This role requires repetitive lifting and long periods of physical activity.
