Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of meals and ingredients, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. Support chefs with cooking tasks, including chopping, mixing, and cooking various dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Help with serving meals during busy periods, ensuring timely delivery to customers. Participate in inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages to senior staff. Follow all health and safety guidelines while working in the kitchen environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, particularly in catering or restaurant settings. Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards is essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new culinary techniques. Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards collaboration. Ability to follow instructions accurately and work under pressure during busy service times. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the kitchen schedule.
