As an account manager for Parcel SafePlace, you will act as the main point of contact for national clients, ensuring exceptional service and long-term relationship growth. This role involves managing client accounts, supporting sales initiatives and working closely with internal teams to deliver seamless solutions. By building trust and providing valuable insights, the representative will contribute to client satisfaction, retention and business expansion.
This role involves regular travel to visit clients, particularly in London and Bristol, so it's essential you can easily commute to these locations.
This role will include:
Building and nurturing strong relationships with national clients to promote long-term partnerships.
Managing client accounts on a daily basis, ensuring service standards and contractual commitments are met.
Collaborating with sales colleagues to develop and deliver strategies for growth and client retention.
Providing accurate reporting on account performance, service quality, and customer feedback.
Working closely with internal teams to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and potential risks.
Seeking opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services to existing clients.
Travelling regularly to client sites across the UK, with frequent visits to London and Bristol.
Our ideal candidate will:
Live within a commutable distance of London and Bristol for regular meetings with clients and internal stakeholders.
Be comfortable travelling to client sites two to three times per week.
Ideally have access to a car for travel.
Have proven experience in account management, ideally within logistics, parcel delivery, or property.
Demonstrate a solution-focused mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
Possess excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively at all levels.
Have strong organisational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple client accounts efficiently.
Be a reliable problem solver who can deliver results under pressure.
Have a track record of building long-term client relationships based on trust and service excellence.
Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Be flexible and willing to travel nationwide to meet client and business needs.
