Overview

We are seeking a professional and reliable Bus Driver to operate passenger vehicles safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, and experience in commercial driving. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to community transportation services while ensuring passenger safety and comfort.

Duties

Safely operate buses on scheduled routes, adhering to traffic laws and company policies Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing excellent customer service Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents during shifts Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly Communicate effectively with dispatchers, passengers, and team members to coordinate schedules and address concerns Follow all safety protocols, including COVID-19 measures where applicable Ensure the bus is clean, well-maintained, and ready for service at all times

Requirements

Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record Proven experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver preferred Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic regulations Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Ability to operate vehicles in various weather conditions and urban environments Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures is advantageous Previous experience in passenger transport or bus driving is desirable Good organisational skills with the ability to manage schedules efficiently
