We are seeking a skilled and reliable Bus Driver in the Manchester area. The job is transporting special needs children to school and dropping them off home in the afternoon. The job is permanent. Approx 16-20 hours.
Duties
Safely operate the bus along designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger counts.
Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, ensuring their safety at all times.
Communicate effectively with passengers regarding route information, delays, or changes in schedule.
Perform basic maintenance tasks on the bus as needed, reporting any significant issues to management promptly.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns professionally.
Experience
Valid pcv driving licence category D/D1 with a clean driving record is essential.
Valid driver CPC qualification card.
Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with passengers and staff.
