We thrive on providing quality services across Wales and the UK. Providing quality bus services for Transport for Wales across their local and long distance services, and providing coach services to both schools and private customers .

We pride our self on safety and quality, and we have been awarded with gold status in our last three TfW audits. With our ongoing success and growth we are currently looking for a PSV Technician to join the teams of Engineers and Technicians responsible for the on-going repair and maintenance of our public service buses and coaches. This role will be based at our Machynlleth deport with weekly travel to our Dolgellau deport.

The successful candidate will:

be an effective team player with good communication skills

have experience in the PSV / HGV industry and hold either a City & Guilds or NVQ level 2 or 3 accreditation or equivalent (time served engineers without these qualifications will also be considered).

be committed to maintaining the highest possible standards and passenger safety at all times

hold a full UK driving licence and either hold a PSV license or be willing to undertake the training and test to obtain a license

hold an IRTEC accreditation in bus and coach or be willing to undertake the training to achieve one

have a problem-solving mindset, and

be flexible and open to the development of new skills

We will also consider any good experienced Vehicle Technician from any background. ie: Car/Van mechanics

Duties will include:

Undertaking Vehicle maintenance, servicing, monthly inspections and repairs on a varied fleet (including M.O.T preparation) in accordance with the Company Operators Licence guidelines and to the highest standard.

work to the highest Health & Safety standards

Movement of vehicles between company sites and in the event of breakdown recovery

Competitive rates of pay

Average working week 40 hours over 5 days, with overtime available on a shift pattern rota, with an additional Saturdays shift in every four week period
