The family business of Marbill Coaches (Based in Beith, North Ayrshire) was started in 1980 and is today the largest independent coach operator in the West of Scotland. We currently have 70 vehicles ranging from 16 seaters to 85 seater coaches and double decker's. With our 44 years of experience, we have developed our organisation to present our customers with a comfortable, economical and personal means of travel. Job Overview
We are currently seeking skilled Drivers to join our team for both full time and part time roles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while providing excellent customer service on various private hires, contracts and school runs that we cater for.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate buses and adhere to traffic and Driver hours laws and regulations ensuring full compliance is maintained.
- Ensure the bus is clean and well-maintained
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking
- Communicate effectively with passengers and provide assistance when needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Driver is advantageous.
- PVG clearance required upon start date.
- Valid PCV licence and CPC Required
- Excellent communication skills to interact with passengers effectively
- Knowledge of mechanical operations for basic troubleshooting and ability to effectively fault report.
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record, max 3 points (will be considered)
- Ability to drive various types of vehicles is advantageous
