We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for equipment repair and maintenance. This role involves working with various tools and machinery, ensuring that all equipment is functioning optimally. The Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and providing excellent customer service to our clients.
Duties
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify issues.
Perform repairs and maintenance on a range of mechanical systems.
Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for assembly and fabrication tasks.
Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot problems accurately.
Carry out heavy lifting as required during repairs or installations.
Solder components as necessary for equipment repair.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair various types of machinery.
Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and other equipment relevant to the trade.
Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
Experience in heavy lifting and physical work is essential.
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with clients.
A willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to the role.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
