Southampton
Part-time/Full-time

14.00 per hour

25-30 hours a week

We have immediate openings for minibus drivers in the Southampton area.
Your working hours will vary depending on the job you are allocated and will be Monday to Friday. Mornings and afternoons during school term time only.

Opportunity for other work in the evenings, weekends and during school holidays.

- Valid D or D1 License



- Valid CPC Card



If you do not have the above, you will be required to apply for a D or D1 License and complete a PSV CPC Qualification & Medical Assessment which we will be paid for by us.



(If you already have a Category D or D1 Licence please make sure you do not have a 101 restriction)

As the driver, you will usually be teamed up with a Passenger Assistant who looks after the children whilst in the vehicle. We try to maintain continuity for the children by ensuring that the driver, PA and route remain unchanged as much as possible. A fully maintained vehicle will be supplied (work use only).

Requirements:



Transporting the same child or children to and from school, 5 days a week. No previous experience necessary as full training will be provided Required to undertake an enhanced DBS check Valid Drivers License (Minimum 2 years) Must be over 30 years old (For Insurance Purposes)

Responsibilities:



To transport children to and from school during term time, 5 days a week, Monday to Friday during Term Time.

To ensure passengers are picked up and dropped off at the specified times and locations.

To maintain a clean vehicle at all times.

To obey all traffic laws at all times.

Assist students in getting in and out of the vehicle if required.

Attend any safeguarding training as required. Please note this vacancy may close at any time, therefore early submission of your application is highly encouraged.


You will be supplied with a company fuel card.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Zero hours contract

Pay: 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
