Johnsons Coaches is a multiple award-winning operator based just outside Birmingham in the West Midlands. Established in 1909, we're proud of our heritage and reputation for quality.

We operate a modern fleet of 77 vehicles - from minibuses to 63-seater extra-long executive coaches - and provide everything from private hire to holidays and day trips.

As our business grows, we're looking for enthusiastic, skilled, and professional PSV Technicians to join our friendly engineering team.

The Role

Working in a modern, well-equipped workshop with the latest diagnostic technology, you'll be supported by a skilled team as you maintain our young coach fleet.

Hours: Monday-Friday + overtime, rota Saturday mornings
Shifts: 5am-2pm / 11am-8pm

What You'll Do:

Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and repairs Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults Prepare vehicles for MOT tests and ensure compliance Accurately complete service records and job sheets

What We're Looking For

NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) Previous experience as a PSV or HGV Technician (dealership or fleet workshop) Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills PSV licence desirable - training available if needed
