Overview



We are seeking compassionate and dedicated extra income seeking part-time, sessional associate and self-employed psychiatrists to form business partnership with Health City. You want flexible working to achieve or to expand your dream of being independent practitioners or self-employed associate psychiatrists. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and demonstrate leadership qualities while developing and implementing effective medical care plans tailored to meet the individual needs of clients. This role is essential in providing psychiatric and therapeutic support and guidance, fostering a safe and nurturing environment for personal growth and healing for clients.

Fee



To be negotiated per each remote and/or face-to-face case referred or allocated to you. The starting range of 180.00 stated in this advert is only for information so that this advertisement platform can allow our advert to be placed.

Our sessional rate per session takes into account our duties and the psychiatrist's duties for the private practice. The psychiatrist focuses on working with the clients. We focus on marketing and providing clients.

If you see our clients face-to-face in our London Bridge UK clinic, there will be Health City's work laptop during your clinic day for you to use at Pepper Street, Canary Wharf, London or you can bring your own secured laptop to the clinic. If you see the client remotely, you will use your own devices.

Duties



To undertake ADHD assessments with children or adults or both. To undertake autism assessments with children or adults or both. To undertake mental capacity assessments with children or adults or both. To undertake mental health or psychiatric assessments (no need to manage prescriptions because the local GPs can do it) with children or adults or both. Work with one client or more subject to referrals coming to Health City. Utilising evidence-based psychiatric techniques. Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care for clients. Monitor client progress and adjust psychiatric treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes. Stay informed about the latest developments in therapeutic practices and mental health trends.

Qualifications



Must be regulated by the UK Royal College of Psychiatrists

(RCPSYCH).

Must have Right to Work document for the United Kingdom. Proven experience in a psychiatric and therapeutic setting is preferred. Strong IT skills for managing client records and documentation effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients. Demonstrated leadership abilities in guiding clients through their therapeutic journey. A commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical guidelines.
