You will lead the qualitative work to understand how individuals experienced the intervention and app how it worked. This will directly impact the design and refinement of the intervention, and so you will be providing key input into intervention development, and ultimately a potential medical device that could become adopted into clinical practice, not just in the UK but globally.
What you would be doing

You will be conducting the qualitative interviews with patients and analysing the interview data. You will be presenting that data to the study team at regular meetings and contributing to the intervention and app development and refinement accordingly.
What we are looking for
---------------------------
We are looking for a highly organised, driven, and dynamic individual who is a team worker, has a positive outlook, and is adaptable and flexible in their working methods. It is essential that they are knowledgeable in current behaviour change science and techniques and specifically have experience of designing topic guides and administering in-depth, semi-structured interviews to assess health behaviours.
Experience in a variety of qualitative analysis techniques such as thematic analysis and Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA), in addition to other mixed methods and quantitative methodologies is also essential.
Any prior knowledge of obstructive sleep apnoea or sleep disorders is not essential to the project.
