Job Description
Applicants should have:
Doctoral level training in clinical/counselling psychology and registration with the Health Professions Council/ BABCP accreditation. Experience of working in an evidence-based way with clients presenting with complex non psychosis. We would consider applications from trainees due to qualify this year, if on a recognised training course and due to finish in September. Post holders will have pro rata session per week CPD.The psychology service regularly takes doctoral level clinical and counselling psychology trainees from London universities. The Trust has a positive commitment to training and development and expects its psychology staff to engage in helping to modernise the skills of the workforce. Psychological therapies are highly regarded and seen as pivotal in supporting the roll out of NICE guidance and other Department of Health requirements.
