Priory Hospital Ticehurst are seeking an experienced and HCPC-registered Psychologist to lead and support our dedicated therapy team within the private adult outpatient service Psychologist/Therapy lead to join the team. This is a full-time/37.5 Hour role.

What you'll be doing





You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.Provide line management and professional leadership to therapy staff, supporting them in delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care. Contribute to service development and be available to support the TSM with specialist projects and initiatives as required by the site. Deliver specialist individual therapy sessions, treatment plans, and reviews for a diverse range of adult mental health presentations. Support our inpatient service by facilitating therapeutic groups, contributing to multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, and offering 1:1 sessions as required. Undertake 40-50% of contracted hours as clinical work, ensuring a balance between leadership responsibilities and direct patient care.

The ideal candidate will be HCPC-registered as a Practitioner Psychologist, with a minimum of two years' post-qualification experience working with adults presenting with a broad range of mental health difficulties. They will demonstrate strong clinical skills in assessment, formulation, and delivery of evidence-based therapeutic interventions. The role requires an individual who can work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, building positive and collaborative relationships with both colleagues and service users. Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills are essential, along with a flexible and proactive approach to meeting service demands.
