PROMIS Clinics is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate
Addiction / Mental Health Therapist or Counsellor
to join our dedicated team at our private residential clinic in the Kent countryside. An
immediate start
is available for the right candidate.
Our intimate, 14-bed retreat is set across five acres of peaceful rural grounds, offering a warm, therapeutic environment where clients receive personalised, holistic care. We provide specialised treatment for both substance and behavioural addictions, as well as mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety.
As a Therapist/Counsellor at PROMIS, you will work under the guidance of the Clinic Manager and as part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred care to support clients through their recovery journey and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy.
Manage a caseload, coordinating all aspects of care including treatment planning, reviews, and aftercare.
Develop, maintain, and complete accurate clinical records (care plans, risk assessments, discharge summaries).
Deliver ongoing therapy as part of our outpatient and aftercare services.
Formulate and revise treatment plans based on changing client needs and circumstances.
Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate risk management strategies.
Identify barriers to recovery and support clients in overcoming them.
Stay informed about best practices and emerging developments in addiction and mental health treatment.
Offer psychoeducation and emotional support to clients and families.
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
