Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen. Maintain food safety protocols, including proper storage and handling of ingredients. Support kitchen staff during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking as needed. Help with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, including upselling menu items when appropriate. Perform basic maths for inventory management and portion control. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods. Basic culinary skills, including knowledge of food preparation techniques. Understanding of food safety regulations and practices is advantageous. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
