Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on full time

PTH / Final Assembly Engineer

to join our growing production team on a permanent basis. This is a critical role responsible for supporting the efficient and accurate preparation of components, through-hole soldering processes, and final assembly operations to ensure timely delivery of high-quality electronic products to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

PTH (Plated Through-Hole) Assembly

Perform manual through-hole soldering to IPC standards. Inspect and verify solder joints for quality and compliance. Operate relevant PTH assembly tools and equipment (e.g., wave soldering, selective soldering).

Final Assembly

Assemble products to customer specifications including mechanical build, wiring, and final inspection. Conduct functional and visual inspections during and after the final assembly process. Identify and troubleshoot any faults or non-conformities during the final stages of production.

General Support

Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organisation in the work area. Support process improvements and continuous quality enhancement initiatives. Adhere to company policies, ESD protocols, ISO policies, and health and safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience in electronics manufacturing, particularly in PTH soldering, or final assembly. Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing processes and ESD handling. Ability to read and interpret BOMs, assembly drawings, and technical documentation. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Effective team player with good communication and problem-solving skills.
