Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a versatile and experienced Multi-Skilled Operative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a wide range of skills and play a vital role in supporting various railway projects, contributing to the overall success and growth of HRS Rail LTD.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with brickwork tasks, including repointing, rebuilding, and repairs.

- Support steelwork activities, including, installation, and maintenance.

- Assist with surface preparation and paint application works to ensure high-quality finishes on various structures.

- Assist with concrete repairs, including crack repair, resurfacing, and structural reinforcement.

- Undertake de-vegetation works to maintain clear and safe railway paths and structures.

- Support GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) works, including installation and maintenance.

- Carry out timber works, including repairs, replacements, and installations of wooden structures.

- Engage in earthworks, including excavation, grading, and soil stabilisation.

- Assist with drainage works, including installation and maintenance of drainage systems.

- Implement pest mitigation strategies to protect railway infrastructure.

- Install and repair fencing to ensure secure and safe railway boundaries.

- Install signage, ensuring proper placement and visibility for railway safety and navigation.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Operative in the construction or railway industry.

- Proficiency in brickwork, steelwork, surface preparation, and paint application.

- Skilled in concrete repairs, de-vegetation works, GRP works, and timber works.

- Experience in earthworks, drainage, pest mitigation, fencing, and signage installation.

- Ability to interpret drawings, sketches, and project specifications to carry out various tasks accurately.

- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration.

- PTS, IPAF, PASMA, SSSTS, SMSTS, Small Tools, Track Trolley, CSCS, Working at Height tickets are beneficial but not essential

Pay: 150.00-200.00 per day
