We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. Duties

Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks under the guidance of the head chef. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste. Support catering events by preparing ingredients and setting up serving areas. Ensure adherence to food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times. Help with cooking tasks as required, including assisting in the preparation of various dishes. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods. Serve meals to customers or guests as needed, ensuring presentation meets quality standards.

Qualifications

Previous kitchen experience or culinary experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential. Experience in catering or restaurant environments is an advantage. Strong skills in meal preparation and food preparation techniques. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a high-pressure environment. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
