Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Staff to join our team for various events. As an integral part of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring that each event runs smoothly and that guests have a memorable experience. This role requires a strong focus on hospitality and guest services, along with the ability to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

providing bar service to customers building up a good connection with regular customers help drive new customers to the venue helping out in the kitchen during service clean downs at the start and end of each day Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring everything is in place before guests arrive. Provide exceptional guest services by welcoming attendees and addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have. Monitor event activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Collaborate with team members to ensure all aspects of the event are executed flawlessly. Manage crowd control and assist with seating arrangements as necessary. Support catering staff during meal services, ensuring timely delivery and presentation of food and beverages. Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events with professionalism and composure.

Skills

Strong management skills to coordinate tasks effectively and lead small teams when required. Excellent hospitality skills, with a passion for providing outstanding service to guests. Proficient in guest services, demonstrating a friendly and approachable demeanour at all times. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members. Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, as events dictate. Job Types: Temporary, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
