Pub Reconciliation Assistant
to join our collaborative team and help manage key financial processes across our network of pubs.
In this dynamic role, you'll play a crucial part in the exception management of around
12 million
in petty cash and support the accurate payment of
1.2 million
in Operator Management Fees on a weekly basis. You'll liaise with General Managers, Pub Operators, and Regional Teams--making your strong interpersonal skills and organised mindset essential.
What You'll Be Doing:
Investigating and correcting petty cash discrepancies across the pub estate
Supporting and improving our new petty cash management system
Training and assisting Operators and GMs with finance-related queries
Creating and sharing weekly reports to highlight trends and risks
Processing Operator Fees and other financial transactions (support, incentives, CHAPS, etc.)
Supporting period-end close processes and finance helpdesk
Helping onboard new team members and maintain procedural documentation
Playing a key role in acquisitions and transition site processes
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance team
What We're Looking For:
Strong numeracy and attention to detail
Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Confident using Excel (intermediate level) and Microsoft Office
Self-motivated with a "can-do" attitude
Experience working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
A basic understanding of finance principles
