We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction while driving profitability.
Duties
Supervise and lead all restaurant staff, including cooks, bartenders, and servers, ensuring a cohesive team environment.
Oversee food production and preparation processes to maintain quality and safety standards.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and service quality.
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels to minimise waste.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly regarding food safety practices.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure a positive dining experience.
Collaborate with the culinary team to design menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences.
Conduct regular training sessions for staff on hospitality standards, food preparation techniques, and service excellence.
Monitor financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, and analysing sales data to achieve business goals.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of culinary practices, food production techniques, and food safety regulations.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with staff and customers alike.

Previous experience in bartending or knowledge of beverage management is advantageous but not essential.
