We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Executive to join our busy public affairs team at KOR, a specialist PR and public affairs consultancy based in Exeter.

In this role, you will work with an experienced team across a number of clients in the land and property sectors to deliver communications strategies, public consultations, and stakeholder engagement for a range of projects.

It is an exciting time to join KOR, as we support our growing list of clients - including some of the country's largest landed estates - embark on residential, commercial or large-scale renewable energy projects across the UK, alongside expanding our public affairs offering. It is therefore important that the candidate has an interest in the rural sector, built environment, renewable energy, planning and politics.

Work as part of a small team to plan and deliver communications strategies and stakeholder engagement for client projects across the UK. Draft press releases, consultation material, briefings and client reports. Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients and stakeholders. Support the monitoring of parliamentary, political and media activity, keeping the team and clients informed. Conduct research and analysis to inform communications activities. Assist in managing project timelines, meeting deadlines and ensuring client work moves smoothly through the approvals process. Represent KOR at client meetings and events alongside colleagues. Collaborate with colleagues across KOR.

Your skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A confident communicator - in writing, by phone, in meetings and at events. Good research and analytical skills with strong attention to detail. Strong organisation and time management - capable of prioritising multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. A collaborative team player with initiative, a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Ability to adapt tone and style of content for different channels and audiences. Understanding of the UK political landscape and an interest in current affairs. Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams. A degree in politics and/or humanities (desirable). Driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Benefits

Join a very experienced and friendly team. In-house training opportunities and career mentoring. 33 days holiday, inclusive of bank holidays and a day off on your birthday. Life cover 100,000. Employment Assistance Scheme and a health cash plan. Membership of professional bodies. Auto enrolment into KOR Pension Scheme.

To apply

Please submit your CV and a cover letter to Grace Gladding at hello@korpr.co.uk

We would like to see how you present yourself in a written cover letter to hear why you would like to join the KOR team, what about the job and our sector interests you, and what makes you such a great candidate.

Please note applications that are submitted without a covering letter will not be considered.
