We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented

Public Area Attendant

to join our team in providing exceptional cleanliness and hospitality in our hotel. The ideal candidate will ensure that all public areas are maintained to the highest standards, creating a welcoming environment for our guests. This role is essential in upholding the reputation of our establishment and enhancing the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and outdoor spaces. Perform regular inspections of public areas to ensure they meet cleanliness standards and report any maintenance issues. Restock supplies in public restrooms and common areas as needed. Assist with setting up and clearing away furniture for events or functions held in public spaces. Respond promptly to guest requests regarding cleanliness or maintenance issues. Work collaboratively with other hotel staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.

Skills

Previous hotel experience is highly desirable, particularly in a housekeeping or janitorial role. Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence. Janitorial experience with knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals used in maintaining public areas. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes. Pay: 13.10 per hour
