We are looking for a highly organised and motivated candidate to lead on Finance and Contracts to join our Public Health team. You will have excellent financial and numerical analytical, report writing and presentation skills, with the ability to lead on complex finances, with a high level of technical expertise, including advanced Microsoft Excel. As the Public Health lead, within your own areas of responsibility, you will have strong communication, presenting, influencing and negotiation skills. This role requires systems working, relationship management and collaboration across different teams and organisations.
Public Health commissioned services include, but are not limited to, Integrated Sexual Health Services, Drugs and Alcohol Services, NHS Health Checks, Stop Smoking Services, Lifestyle and Prevention Services and wider determinants of health. Services are delivered by a wide range of NHS providers (acute and general practice), pharmacies, voluntary and community services, amongst others. This role will be responsible for leading on developing and implementing effective payments, financial analytical and contract management processes and for ensuring timely and accurate payments. The successful candidate will play a key role in achieving high-quality, cost-effective Public Health services for Ealing residents and improve population health.
Reporting to the Public Health lead in sexual health a considerable part of this role involves contract performance and leading the financial management of open access, specialised Integrated Sexual Health services, as well as other Public Health services and responsibilities.

The location for this role is Perceval House in central Ealing. There will be some requirements to attend meetings in other London sites, as the Ealing representative.
