As a Public Health Research and Intelligence Specialist, you will play a leading role in undertaking health needs assessments, literature reviews, and health economic assessments using specialist public health methodologies. You will also contribute to the annual report of the Director of Public Health, write reports to journal standard, and undertake service reviews and evaluations to inform commissioning and local health strategies.

We are looking for candidates who:
Have a bachelor's degree in health or social sciences or a relevant subject.
Possess knowledge and experience of undertaking health needs assessments and other associated research methods.
Have effective oral communication skills with the ability to influence others.
Demonstrate strong time management and project management skills.
Are able to collaborate constructively with colleagues, both internal and external to the council.
