We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Public Relations (PR) Executive to enhance and maintain the reputation of several businesses operating under the Spencer Group umbrella. The successful candidate will develop and execute PR campaigns, manage media relations, and communicate key messages to various stakeholders. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and excellent communication skills to effectively represent our brand to the public, media, and industry professionals.
Responsibilities
As a Public Relations Executive at Spencer Group you will:
Develop, implement, and manage public relations strategies to enhance the company's reputation.
Write and distribute press releases, articles, and other media materials.
Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, industry influencers, and stakeholders.
Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing regular reports and insights to management.
Manage crisis communication and ensure timely, strategic responses to media inquiries.
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, engineering, and leadership, to ensure consistent messaging.
Oversee the creation of engaging content for corporate websites, social media platforms, and newsletters.
Support branding initiatives by ensuring alignment between PR campaigns and corporate identity.
Track and analyse PR campaign performance, adjusting strategies as necessary.
Person Specification
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and networking abilities.
High level of creativity and ability to craft compelling narratives.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical skills to assess PR campaign effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experience
A Bachelor's degree in English Literature or a related field.
Experience in public relations, media relations, or corporate communications, preferably in an engineering, manufacturing, or technical industry desired but not essential
