Duties

Develop and implement engaging course materials that promote active learning and critical thinking. Assess student performance through various methods, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development. Maintain effective communication with students, offering guidance and support throughout their learning journey. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and departmental initiatives to enhance the overall educational experience. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and community outreach activities as required. Utilise IT effectively to enhance teaching methodologies and facilitate learning.

Experience

A degree in the relevant field is essential; a higher degree (e.g., Master's or PhD) is preferred. Proven experience in teaching at a higher education level is advantageous. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex concepts. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines efficiently. Familiarity with IT tools and platforms that support teaching and learning processes.
