We're Looking for an enthusiastic and versatile person to join our team!
Someone that has a good knowledge of all aspects of food and drink service, that is confident to make decisions and work from their own initiative.
The role will be varied and will include the management of our bar, restaurant and 5 newly renovated guest bedrooms. Experience and confidence to manage staff in these areas is crucial.
The Wheatsheaf-
We are a Family Run Pub serving Cask Ales, Ciders and Excellent Food Everyday.
The pub is made up of a cosy bar area, elegant restaurant, function room, terrace and guest bedrooms. We have been open just under 4 years and are doing well to carve a great reputation locally. Our team are integral to this, so passion for the industry and a confident, happy persona are a must!
The Role-
Managing and training a team of staff
You will be responsible for Supervising the entire premises
Cellar work- changing barrels, taking deliveries etc where needed
Banking, cashing up and ordering change
Training of junior staff
Managing bookings for the rooms, dealing with check ins etc
Shifts are fairly flexible and aren't set. Although working evenings and weekends is necessary. Job based on 30 - 35 hours per week.
