An opportunity has arisen for a Shift Manager to join the Bar Team at Rhubarb, a Pub and Restaurant located in the heart of Lark Lane.

Within a relaxed and welcoming environment, we serve food Monday to Sunday, 9am - 4pm, and drinks, Monday to Sunday, 9am - midnight. We hosts live music twice a week.

Candidates

MUST

be available to work shifts:

Monday to Sunday . 8.30am - 5.15pm.

Monday to Sunday. 4.45pm-Finish (1am ish)

be available to work shifts over Christmas

New Year

The position we are currently filling is permanent and offers 30+ hours per week

GENERAL DUTIES

Ensuring Great Customer Service Team Management Operational Efficiency Communication and Reporting (with team members, kitchen staff, and GM) Problem-Solving Training and Development Cashing Up and Keyholding Assisting the GM as required
In essence, our shift managers are the on-the-ground leaders who ensure that the business runs efficiently and effectively during their designated hours

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Previous supervisory experience in a similar role in a Bar or Restaurant (essential)

Ability to motivate and lead staff

Work well under pressure with excellent delegation skills

Training skills

Ability to recognise a problem when it arises and be able to resolve it appropriately by using good judgement, tact and initiative

Be able to multi task and have excellent attention to detail

Great interpersonal skills
