Working predominantly within the Industrial and Building Services sectors, we are experts in providing repair, maintenance and installation solutions within the pump engineering world, and have ambitious growth plans over the next 3 years.
Objectives of this role
Your role revolves around pumps, inverters, control panels, pipe work and wiring. You will be responsible for work including:
On-site repairs to pumps, pump systems and controls
Workshop repairs (as required)
Call outs & Call out Rota
Troubleshooting to avoid failed systems
Electrical and mechanical work on site
General servicing, maintenance, repairs and replacements of pumps and systems on site
Fault finding on site
New installations on site
You will need to apply your strong knowledge of pumps and pump systems, electrical controls and wiring. This will be coupled with your mechanical skills and knowledge. You will be required to carry out both electrical and mechanical work to ensure we deliver a complete package for our customers.

Heating pumps
Chiller pumps
Booster pumps and systems
Pressurisation sets
Waste water pumps and systems
Sewage and storm pump stations
Industrial process pumps
Your work base will be here in Northampton, and you will be required to visit a variety of locations across the country including:
Factories - manufacturing 'all sorts'
Prisons
Hospitals
Education Facilities

Preferred skills and qualifications
You will need to display good interpersonal and communication skills, because great relationships with customers and fellow team members are a key part of how we work. You need to be a disciplined person who can organize and manage your own workload and know when to bring in support from the team in order to give the customer the best result. An understanding of electrical and mechanical principles are key, with previous experience.
The role requires a government DBS check given the businesses we work with. This check will be carried out pre-employment.
