We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electro Mechanical Engineer to compliment our existing team, we have recently opened our Scotland regional facility to compliment the services we deliver in the North of England. This position is due to the expansion of our services across our already exciting portfolio of clients. The candidate will play a key role in helping growth in the region.
The position is Renfrewshire based with travel across the North West and further across the UK as and when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
- Removal and installation of Electro Mechanical assets including but not limited to motors, pumps, gearboxes, Fans and general rotational equipment.
- Mechanical and Electrical duties in our Workshop
- Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Conduct testing and validation of electro Mechanical systems
- Liaise with and support other site staff and colleagues
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in process
-Identify opportunities for innovation
-Carry out risk assessments on each job as required and raise any concerns
-Ensure all repair and maintenance work is carried out in line with company standards and H&S legislation
-Set up and commission new equipment to a range of customer sites around the east coast of Scotland and occasionally further afield
- Inspect, fault find and repair a range of pumps and pump systems such as submersible pumps, boost sets and pump stations
Experience:
-Qualification to degree level or exceptional experience within the industry
- Competency of dynamic balancing and laser alignment
-Excellent communication skills and capable of lone working and using initiative
-You will require the flexibility to be added to our on call rota
-You will be required to undertake Safety and Competency Training
- Proven experience in mechanical design and development
- Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with root cause analysis techniques
