About the Role

As Pumpkin Events Manager, you'll lead the operations of our flagship PYO Pumpkin event--an exciting, high-energy experience that brings thousands of visitors to the farm. You'll oversee everything from daily logistics and team coordination to event safety and supplier management.

What You'll Do

Lead daily event operations (power, lighting, sound, safety, logistics--you name it). Work with the Farm Shop & F&B team to deliver exceptional service and atmosphere. Manage staff rotas and ensure the right people are in the right places ("aces in places"). Maintain strong relationships with traders, contractors, and partners. Follow established systems and safety plans (ESP, evacuation, opening/closing, EPOS, etc.). Solve problems quickly and creatively--especially on busy event days! Create a positive, fun experience for both staff and guests.

What You Bring

?

Essential:

3+ years of outdoor event management (or equivalent experience with 10,000+ guest events). Confident leading teams of permanent and temporary staff. Understanding of event production (power, lighting, sound, EPOS, etc.). Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office, Google Docs, CRM tools. Strong communicator, great under pressure, and guest-focused.

Desirable:

Experience across entertainment, build teams, or marketing. Comfortable on camera for social media. Previous experience in theme parks or multi-attraction venues.
