Pupil Behaviour Support Assistant
Do you have experience managing challenging behaviour in children and adolescents with a calm and supportive approach? Teaching Personnel is seeking a Pupil Behaviour Support Assistant to join our successful supply agency team and work in schools across the Durham area. This position is ideal for individuals wanting to build a career in Education with prior experience working or volunteering with young people aged 11-16.
About the role
As part of a dynamic and innovative team, the successful Behaviour Support Assistant will deliver targeted support to students in a Secondary School setting. This role operates on a supply basis, Monday to Friday.
The ideal candidate will have Team Teach Training, though this is not mandatory.
Requirements
To be considered for the Pupil Behaviour Support Assistant (Secondary) role you will:

  • Have experience supporting children in small groups
  • Have experience working with children with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
  • Demonstrate patience and a compassionate nature
